OrderSimply's 124 Pint Pledge

Helping bars get back on their feet

For Immediate Release - Today, OrderSimply launches the 124 Pint Pledge, a social movement to encourage Ontarians to get out and support bars and restaurants across the province. As the province moves towards a summer with patios open, OrderSimply wants to encourage everyone to get out and enjoy themselves responsibly.

“The idea came from instagram, where we saw posts about a study in the UK which found that Brits need to drink 124 pints this summer to save their pub industry” said OrderSimply’s Co-Founder and President, Thomas Robson. “After a few jokes, we realized that most British pubs had an easier year than those in Ontario. We decided we needed to do something.”

“As a company in the craft beer industry, we had been looking for a way to leverage our expertise and capabilities to support the bars and restaurants so crucial to our ecosystem of fun.” said Ewan Farrelly, another Co-Founder and the COO of OrderSimply. “Today, we’re calling on Ontarians to responsibly support bars and restaurants this summer to do so by going out and enjoying 124 pints.”

OrderSimply has launched an online newsletter to keep those who sign the pledge in the loop on great beers and cool bars and restaurants.
